Margarita is a Blood Hound mix puppy who was born and lives in the jungle with us. She loves kayaking, playing, swimming and chasing Agador.

About The Author/Illustrator

Sheryl Bearman is an artist and author who lives off the grid, on an island, in the rain forest.  Through her art, writing and illustrations, she shares the natural beauty, complexity, and activity on her remote island in the Caribbean.

Sheryl has been married for 35 years to her husband Gary.  Together they enjoy, swimming, snorkeling, diving, kayaking with their 2 dogs, Lili & Margarita, and visiting the many natural local islands.

In addition to her new children’s picture book, “Agador and Mila’s Jungle Adventure,” she also creates tropical watercolor and driftwood paintings, as well as fine art photography.  She operates a local gallery in Panama, you can find her in her studio or visit her websites.

The island gallery, which is only accessible by boat, is located on an island in the Bocas del Toro Archipelago, in the Bocas del Toro Province of Panama.
